Who are we?

Lake County Pride Organization Corp. is a 501(c)(3) established in 2019, is a non-profit consisting of me, Danielle M. Olivani, its creator and founder, and a dedicated group of volunteer board members. We are an intersectional organization that has deep ties and stands in solidarity with all marginalized and underrepresented communities in Lake County, FL. 

Lake County Pride was created to promote civic service, awareness, education, and advocacy on issues affecting the LGBTQIA+ community in Lake County. Your donations will support Pride awareness and education in Lake County, Florida.

Due to COVID-19, we hosted a virtual Pride for the entire community on Saturday, September 19th, 2020, with notable guest performers and RuPaul’s Drag Race finalist Ginger Minj, DJ and musician Adam Joseph, and Internet personality Matty Rants. The event was streamed on Facebook and YouTube and viewed by over 2000 people. All proceeds made from this event were donated to Equality Florida's TransAction.

Working alongside me are my fellow board members, volunteers, and local allies, including but not limited to our contributors and supporters: Climate First Bank, Embrace Magazine, Deland Pride, St. Pete Pride, Equality FLORIDA, Lake County Democrats, Momma Ashely Rose, and Rose Dynasty Foundation Inc., The National Bearded Empress Pageant, WellFlorida Council, Pineapple Healthcare, and The United Way of Lake and Sumter County.
